If someone dies at home, you should first contact their GP or an out-of-hours doctor, who will issue a death certificate or refer to the coroner if necessary. Once that is underway, call us and we will arrange collection. We can collect from residential addresses; an additional supplement of £245 applies.
A direct cremation is unattended — no formal service at the crematorium. Your loved one is collected, cared for, and cremated. The ashes are returned to you. Many families hold their own private tribute separately.
A simple funeral includes a short service at the crematorium (up to 20 minutes), a hearse, and a family limousine, allowing family and friends to gather and say goodbye together.
A hearsette is a specially adapted estate-type vehicle used for direct cremation collections, in place of a traditional hearse. It allows us to keep costs lower while ensuring your loved one is transferred with complete dignity throughout.
Yes. We serve crematoria across South Wales, including Swansea, Llanelli, and Margam. Cremation fees vary by location and we will always confirm the exact cost for your chosen crematorium before arrangements are confirmed.
Ashes are returned to families in a biodegradable ashes pod — an eco-friendly container made from natural materials. It is suitable for scattering, burying in a garden, or keeping as a temporary vessel while you decide on a permanent memorial.
Our direct cremation price of £1,595 is fully inclusive of all items listed on our service page — no hidden extras. The only additions are optional supplements (home collection, attended committal, reinforced coffin, ashes delivery), all clearly priced.
Our simple funeral from £1,694 is our professional charge. Third-party costs — cremation fee, officiant, and doctors’ fees — are additional and shown in full in your written estimate.
Direct cremation is paid in full prior to the cremation taking place.
